But you know what makes something really important to people: When we “DO” this is important.
I once knew a very busy CIO who was trying to lead a change to a new technology. She said it was important. Then she DID it was important. She took train-the-trainer lessons and became a trainer. When people saw that she was DOING “this is important,” they knew, they internalized that THIS…IS…IMPORTANT.
